The inaugural issue of the Journal of Medical Research and Clinical Evidence marks the beginning of an academic initiative committed to promoting clinically relevant, ethical and methodologically sound medical research.

The journal has been established with particular emphasis on encouraging research, scientific writing and publication among doctors serving in rural, semi-urban and resource-limited healthcare settings across India.
